Redsense Medical signs collaboration agreement with University Health Network in Toronto, Canada, for study with Redsense Clamp
Redsense Medical has signed a collaboration agreement with University Health Network in Toronto, Canada, to conduct a study with Redsense Clamp, an accessory to the company’s alarm system that can automatically stop the blood flow when blood leakage is detected, independent from the dialysis machine. The study includes home dialysis patients and will be conducted during the second through the forth quarter of 2018.
The University Health Network, that conducts research and healthcare at six different hospitals and treatment centres in Toronto, is a recognized leader in home hemodialysis care. Dr Christopher Chan, the Medical Director of the Home Hemodialysis Unit at the University Health Network and a recognized expert in the field, will be leading the study.

After the completion of the study in the third quarter of 2018, a final version of Redsense Clamp will be developed. This product will then be available through Redsense Medical's distributors.
