Sumitomo SHI FW Energia Oy has chosen Rejlers as the supplier for its electrical, instrumentation and automation design for a sustainability project at Mälarenergi’s power station in Västerås.

“We are proud that Sumitomo SHI FW Energia Oy has chosen Rejlers,” says Aki Hakkarainen, Rejler’s business area director. We possess leading expertise within the power station sector and that is very apparent from our assignments.

The agreement covers project engineering, design and documentation within electrical, instrumentation and automation engineering and electrical design of the building.

Thanks to the new CFB boiler, Mälarenergi is taking a big step towards sustainable development. The new unit will exclusively use renewable and recycled raw materials.
It will be ready for commercial operation in 2020. Once the boiler is commissioned, the City of Västerås will achieve its environmental goals.
