Apex Lifts makes lift management clear and simple with C.A.L.M customer management portal
Apex Lifts has launched Apex Computer Aided Lift Management (C.A.L.M), a customer log-in area and management portal that provides real-time updates of lift service, maintenance and repairs.
“We’ve been working on offering a system that allows our customers to see, at the click of a button, exactly what is happening with the lifts on all their sites. But we wanted to go above and beyond, and make the system as user-friendly possible. That’s C.A.L.M,” explains John Roberts, Apex Lifts Service Manager, who was instrumental in creating the system. “No other independent lift companies currently offer a service as comprehensive as C.A.L.M.”
Customers can get an ‘on the move’ view of their lifts, showing the status of their entire lift portfolio whenever they choose. C.A.L.M is updated instantly, so they can also see the arrival times of engineers, and the specific work they will be carrying out on that day.
And with an interactive calendar tool, customers can also view work on selected dates, as well as downloading pdfs of call out reports within time periods by selecting the parameters of their choice, such as weekly, fortnightly, even annually.
Plus, so called ‘sick lifts’, elevators that have repeated faults, can be tracked through email reports, which will conclude when the lift is back on track and working as it should be.
A slick, colourful interface using the red, amber and green traffic light system for instant identification of progress has been designed for supreme accessibility with the building or facilities manager in mind.
