Four years in planning, five months of relocation, a complete rebuild, an entire rebrand 10,000 emails and 35,000 leaflets later, RDO Kitchens and Appliances, has launched its much-awaited Stoneham Kitchen Studio in Reigate, Surrey.

“We’ve taken the business, turned it upside down and inside out, and we’re remarkably proud of what we’ve achieved,” says Roger Sargant, Senior Partner of RDO Kitchens & Appliances.

Situated on Bancroft Road in Reigate, the new look store features a brand new Kitchen Design Studio with stunning Stoneham displays. A combination of Stoneham’s Avant Garde in-frame collection and its Heritage framed collection shows a diverse mix of sleek, modern kitchens alongside classic designs. The ranges include: Edwardian, Darwin, Mode, Infinity, Knole, Strata and Fahrenheit, in a spectacular selection of new colours and finishes from Charcoal Gloss Anthracite Oak to Aubergine, Dove Grey and Cashmere. The kitchens incorporate a dazzling array of the most up to date design ideas, lighting concepts and prestigious appliance brands including Miele, Neff, Siemens, AEG, Bosch, Fisher Paykel and Gaggenau.

Established in 1952 by Ken Sargant, RDO has built a name for itself as a highly successful kitchen appliance business, run by Ken’s son, Roger. Today, following four years of planning and a major rebuild, it is home to bespoke kitchen brand Stoneham, with third-generation Sargant, April, taking up the role as RDO Kitchen Studio’s Senior Designer:

“We wanted to show people much more than a collection of kitchen units and appliances,” says April. “We’ve created a highly interactive and engaging showroom, with plenty of room for design consultations, cooking demonstrations, even pop-up restaurants!”

On why they chose to stock Stoneham kitchens exclusively, John Aylott, Consultant on the project explains: “Stoneham not only provides us the luxury brand right for our clientele, it offers us the choice of cutting-edge modern designs alongside more traditional kitchens, all under one roof.”

The showroom opened to the public on Saturday 25th October to high acclaim.   RDO Kitchens and Appliances is already up for the Reigate and Banstead Business of the Year Award.

Adrian Stoneham, MD of Stoneham Kitchens comments: “We’re delighted to welcome RDO Kitchen Studio to our network of appointed kitchen centres. Our designers have worked closely with the RDO team to come up with a spectacular showroom - now we can’t wait to work with them on some new kitchen projects!”
