Tycoon Industrier AS, a company controlled by  
boardmember Mr. Øystein Stray Spetalen, has on August
20 purchased 741.400 shares in SD Standard Drilling
Plc at NOK 8.30,- per share.

After the transaction Øystein Stray Spetalen and
associated companies have a holding of 26 714 936
shares in SD Standard Drilling Plc corresponding to
10,2 % of the outstanding shares in the company
