Disclosure of large shareholding

Through his wholly owned group subsidiaries Spencer 
Trading Inc and Blystad Shipholding Inc ("the Blystad 
Group Companies"), Arne Blystad owns 26,279,009 
shares in Saga Tankers ASA. This represents 30,28% of 
the total amount of shares outstanding in Saga 
Tankers ASA.

The Blystad Group Companies has today sold 26,279,009 
shares in Saga Tankers ASA at a price of NOK 2.40 per 
share. Following this transaction, the Blystad Group 
Companies has sold all shares in Saga Tankers ASA. 
This information is subject to the disclosure 
requirements according to section 5-12 of the 
Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
