S&P Global Ratings has announced today that Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) ("SBB" or "the Company") has been assigned a BB rating with stable outlook. This is SBB’s second public rating from a leading credit rating agency and is a two step improvement over the first rating the company received in November 2017.

"A strong rating from S&P creates great potential to significantly reduce funding costs and subsequently increase earnings per share." says Ilija Batljan, Founder and CEO of Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden.

The rating highlights SBB’s high-quality and low-risk portfolio consisting of Swedish rental residentials and Nordic community service properties with strong cash flows, where municipalities or state ultimately guarantee the tenants.
