SAS Curriculum Pathways free digital resources now available to SchoolCity Assessment and Data Management customers

When a student struggles with a certain topic, teachers can start helping them immediately with SAS® Curriculum Pathways® interactive, digital resources. SAS Curriculum Pathways has joined the growing resource library within SchoolCity’s STARS® Assessment and Data Management software. SchoolCity users can join the nearly 190,000 teachers and students already using the free digital resources for K-12.

“This partnership with SAS Curriculum Pathways is another example of how SchoolCity is committed to providing our teacher customers and their students with the absolute best solutions and resources available to help improve teaching and learning,” said Vaseem Anjum, CEO of SchoolCity.

If a student takes an assessment, and performs poorly in a certain area, SchoolCity’s STARS™ Suite provides teachers with immediate access to SAS Curriculum Pathways and other resources that address the subject, helping them to assist the student instantly. Access to SAS Curriculum Pathways is provided through a single sign-on process, removing the burden of remembering multiple user names and passwords.

SAS Curriculum Pathways online curriculum resources have been proven to increase student learning and teacher effectiveness by targeting higher-order thinking skills. The learner-centered approach integrates varied instructional strategies and incorporates formative and summative assessments. More than 1,000 interactive, web-based curriculum resources include English language arts, math, science, social studies and Spanish.

“Today’s students respond best to engaging, interactive resources that promote the skills to succeed in school and beyond,” said Scott McQuiggan, Director of SAS Curriculum Pathways. “While SAS Curriculum Pathways resources are available at no cost to educators and their students, SchoolCity’s STARS™ Suite connects thousands more teachers and students with compelling content in SAS Curriculum Pathways.”

Since 1999, SchoolCity has delivered assessment, curriculum and data management solutions to educators across the United States. In 2014, SchoolCity launched a brand new Common Core version of their flagship product (STARS™ Suite). With an all-new online testing feature, STARS™ Suite provides students with much needed practice at taking assessments online and new CCSS item types similar to those being delivered by PARCC and SBAC member states.
