Stockton-on-Tees based web company to help UK businesses go mobile in Google's new GetMo initiative
Stockton-on-Tees, UK (14 March, 2012) – Google is set to mobilise the UK web market with the launch of GetMo and Sayu Limited has been confirmed as a partner to help retailers and publishers go mobile, following the success of a similar initiative in the US, GoMo.
The aim of GetMo is to educate and promote, through a network of specialist providers, the importance of making websites mobile friendly and Sayu has been confirmed as a UK vendor. Sayu successfully launched a dedicated mobile platform SayuConnect in 2011 and its commitment to mobile development and excellence led to the company being chosen following an extensive selection process.
The proliferation of Smartphones and other mobile devices is fundamentally changing the behaviour of consumers; in terms of how they search, browse, interact and buy online. So it’s critical that organisations and businesses develop a strategy that will enable them to access the opportunities that the changing market will bring.
Director at Sayu, Simon Pitts said “The team at Sayu is delighted and proud to be confirmed as a provider by Google for the GetMo initiative. SayuConnect was developed in response to the significant changes our clients were experiencing in the UK search market and we’re looking forward to working with GetMo to help UK businesses realise the importance of mobile.”
SayuConnect was the product of 12 months research and development; and can deliver a mobile website that can be integrated with any existing website platform providing a flexible solution for ecommerce and web publishers alike; enabling businesses to take full advantage in their respective sectors.
“The launch of GetMo is a significant development in the UK as many businesses still do not realise the importance of the shift in consumer behaviour. The need for mobile websites will be unprecedented during the next 12 months as the number of mobile users will continue to rise significantly. SayuConnect is perfectly positioned to deliver mobile integration to companies of all sizes.”, added Pitts.
Sayu was established in 2005 and is a privately owned company delivering a wide range of digital services, including web development and direct response search engine marketing for a broad client base throughout the UK.
