Borgenärssammanträde för Northlands dotterbolag i rekonstruktion

Luxemburg, den 4 augusti 2014 – Northland Resources S.A. (OSE: NAUR, Frankfurt: NPK, Nasdaq OMX/First North: NAURo – tillsammans med dotterbolagen ”Northland”, ”NRSA” eller ”Bolaget”) meddelar att ett borgenärssammanträde för Bolagets dotterbolag i rekonstruktion kommer hållas kl. 13.00 idag vid Luleå tingsrätt.
Som meddelades den 14 juli 2014, de svenska dotterbolagen Northland Sweden AB, Northland Resources AB (publ) och Northland Logistics AB har ansökt om och trätt in i en rekonstruktion i enlighet med tingsrättens beslut. Som en del av rekonstruktionen kommer ett borgenärssammanträde hållas kl. 13.00 idag vid Luleå tingsrätt.
Under borgenärssammanträdet kommer den utsedda rekonstruktören, advokat Lars Söderqvist, presentera rekonstruktionens utveckling, samt villkoren för denna (”den Preliminära Rekonstruktionsplanen”).

Northland är en producent av järnmalm med en portfölj av produktion, utvecklings- och prospekteringsprojekt i norra Sverige och Finland. Den första byggfasen av Kaunisvaara-projektet är färdig och drifttagningen startade i november 2012. Northland avser att producera ett höghaltigt och högkvalitativt järnmalmskoncentrat i svenska Kaunisvaara, där Bolaget har två fyndigheter, Tapuli och Sahavaara, med magnetitmalm. Northland har ingått så kallade ”off-take agreements” för hela produktionen från Kaunisvaara de kommande sju till tio åren. Bolaget har även färdigställt en lönsamhetsstudie (DFS) för Hannukainen-projektet i Kolari i norra Finland. Hannukainen är en så kallad IOCG-fyndighet, vilket innebär att det utöver järnmalm även kan utvinnas guld och koppar.
