Luxemburg, den 16 september 2014 – Northland Resources SE (OSE: NAUR, Frankfurt: NPK, Nasdaq OMX/First North: NAURo – tillsammans med dotterbolagen ”Northland”, ”NRSE” eller ”Bolaget”) meddelar att Bolagets bolagsform ändrats till ett så kallat Societas Europaea eller SE-bolag.
Vid den extra bolagsstämma som hölls den 28 augusti 2014 godkände aktieägarna att Bolagets bolagsform ändras till ett så kallat Societas Europaea eller SE-bolag. Förändringen har trätt i kraft i och med att registrering av detta nu slutförts vid bolagsregistret i Luxemburg. Bolagets namn har därmed ändrats från Northland Resources S.A. till Northland Resources SE.
Detta är en del av Bolagets mål att flytta Bolaget från Luxemburg till Sverige för att upprätta en mer effektiv koncernstruktur och minska bördan av administrativa utgifter. Nästa steg för flytten är att ändra Bolagets registrerade säte från Luxemburg till Sverige, vilket kommer att hanteras vid en separat extra bolagsstämma.

Northland är en producent av järnmalm med en portfölj av produktion, utvecklings- och prospekteringsprojekt i norra Sverige och Finland. Den första byggfasen av Kaunisvaara-projektet är färdig och drifttagningen startade i november 2012. Northland avser att producera ett höghaltigt och högkvalitativt järnmalmskoncentrat i svenska Kaunisvaara, där Bolaget har två fyndigheter, Tapuli och Sahavaara, med magnetitmalm. Northland har ingått så kallade ”off-take agreements” för hela produktionen från Kaunisvaara de kommande sju till tio åren. Bolaget har även färdigställt en lönsamhetsstudie (DFS) för Hannukainen-projektet i Kolari i norra Finland. Hannukainen är en så kallad IOCG-fyndighet, vilket innebär att det utöver järnmalm även kan utvinnas guld och koppar.
