DeLaval has chosen Semcon as exclusive supplier of aftermarket information

DeLaval has contracted Semcon as sole supplier within technical illustration and technical documentation for aftermarket information.

The contract is a long term agreement with one year prolongation period. The scope of the contract includes technical illustrations and production of technical documentation, furthermore development of illustrations and illustration processes. Example of different information deliverables and products are; original parts, product news, service news and instruction books for DeLaval.

”DeLaval is active throughout the world and we need a partner that’s bigger than most Swedish consultancy companies. Semcon being a globally-established company was a crucial factor when deciding who to choose” says Thomas Funck, manager of DeLaval BA Shared Support Services.

Semcon will operate in a managed service model, i.e. taking full responsibility for the information deliverables. Semcon’s employees will also participate in project teams as per the needs of each DeLaval project. The global delivery organization will include Semcon offices in Sweden, UK and Hungary. Semcon will offer a FOBO-solution with Gothenburg as front office with support from back office teams in Budapest and Kineton.
