Semcon expands in Trollhättan and recruits new engineers

Semcon is expanding in Trollhättan, and has since December recruited around 25 engineers formerly employed at Saab Automobile Powertrain AB.

In total, Semcon has around 75 people employed in Trollhättan. In addition, a further 25 sub-consultants are involved in various projects. The office carries out assignments and projects for clients in the region, but also for industrial clients throughout Sweden. The office also provides services to global automotive customers in product development and aftermarket information.

“Semcon was set up at Trollhättan in 1985 and we see major opportunities for further expansion by taking advantage of the expertise that exists in the region,” says Stefan Ohlsson, business area manager at Automotive R&D.
