Serneke Civil Engineering wins contract in Vega district, Haninge
Serneke Civil Engineering has signed an agreement with the Municipality of Haninge for civil engineering contracting in the emerging Vega neighborhood. The contract is valued at about SEK 42 million.
In the northern part of the Municipality Haninge (south of Stockholm), a completely new urban district is growing, with housing for 10,000 residents. In the Vega district, 3,600 homes are being constructed and the first residents are already in place.
The work for which Serneke Civil Engineering has been commissioned is to be carried out in the district’s western portion, covered by detailed development plan 4 (of a total five such plans for the area). The project entails the construction of roads and electricity, telecommunications, heating, water and sewerage mains.

The civil engineering work will commence immediately and the project is scheduled for completion in August 2018.
The order value of approximately SEK 42 million will be included in order bookings for the second quarter of 2017.
