Serneke and Trollhättan’s housing company AB Eidar have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement for a major renovation project in the Lextorp district in Trollhättan. The project will include ROT (Repairs, Conversion, Extension) renovation of around 600 apartments.

“Our organization is really looking forward to a good cooperation with Eidar, which is a very important, capable and inspiring client. For us, this is proof that our long-term, goal-oriented work in the region is appreciated by our clients. Knowing we have an organization that wins this type of procurement is extremely satisfying,” says Christer Larsson, Construction Manager, Serneke Construction.

The agreement comprises, among other things, ROT renovation of Eidar’s approximately 600 apartments in Lextorp’s high-rise building in Kv. Guldvingen 1 and the buildings commonly known as the “low houses” in Kv. Guldvingen 2. Further development of premises in Granngården center is also included in the project.

This is a five-year contract with the option of a two-year extension.

In accordance with the collaboration agreement, the project will be carried out in two phases. Phase one of the project, which starts immediately, includes the project planning phase in which a budget for the conversion project will be finalized. Phase 2 will comprise production and handover of the building.
