Serneke Bygg has entered into a contract with AB Svenska Bostäder to build an 11-story-high tower block in Sabbatsberg called the Tegnér tower. The order is valued at approximately SEK 95 million.

The Tegnér tower will be built at the corner of Tegnérgatan and Hälsobrunnsgatan in the Sabbatsberg district of Stockholm. The tower block will be 11 stories high and contain about 40 tenant-owner apartments. The building’s design will feature a facade and ceiling made of the same material – a mixture of green slate and sheet metal.

“The Tegnér tower is an exciting and challenging project, which we look forward to getting started with,” says Göran Viklund, Construction Manager at Serneke Bygg.

Construction of the Tegnér tower is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2017, and the building is expected to be ready for occupation during the second quarter of 2019.

The order value of approximately SEK 95 million will be included in the order bookings for the second quarter of 2017.
