Lincoln’s first premier upscale hotel, which is also one of the newest DoubleTree by Hilton hotels to open in the UK, is helping to put the city on the map as a meetings and conference destination.

Since opening on 30thDecember 2011, the hotel has hosted a food and drink awards ceremony attended by over 150 people. The hotel is also the venue for a networking event for commercial property agents and developers on 23rd February and an international digital technology conference on 24th February.

DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln is part of the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of hotels, which has a wealth of experience in creating and delivering exceptional events. The hotel on Brayford Wharf North boasts 750 square metres of flexible meeting and conference space including a rooftop ballroom and an adjoining break-out area with its own spectacular viewing gallery and bar.

The hotel has five meeting rooms and can cater for all sized events, from meetings for as little as 10 delegates up to large conferences for up to 300 guests in the Cathedral Ballroom.

The hotel is in the heart of Brayford Pool marina, with stunning views of the Lincoln Cathedral and conveniently situated within walking distance of Lincoln Central train station. The direct train from London Kings Cross to Lincoln Central takes approximately two hours, making it quick, easy and convenient for rail passengers using the East Coast Main Line.

As well as the state-of-the-art meetings and events space the hotel has 115 modern and well-appointed guest rooms, including eight luxury suites each with its own balcony, a fully equipped gym and the stunning Electric Bar & Restaurant on the fifth floor.

Head Chef Alec Maxfield, who has worked at two Michelin starred restaurants including The Fat Duck in Bray, has developed a world-class menu incorporating seasonal Lincolnshire produce.
