News release

4th October 2012

Leading public relations agency Shooting Star PR has moved into larger premises at St Mark’s in Lincoln.

The company, which was founded six years ago by Kate Strawson and Jez Ashberry, has relocated from Burton Road in Lincoln to 154 High Street.

The agency has worked with more than 100 clients since it was launched and directors Kate and Jez are hoping to expand in the near future.

“We chose our new offices because they provide us with more space, an excellent city centre location and a good open-plan space in which to work,” said Jez.

“We’ve been very pleased with all the help we received during the move from chartered surveyors Banks Long & Co, our solicitors Bridge McFarland and St Mark’s and we’re looking forward to taking on a new Account Manager in the not too distant future to help us cope with the increasing demand for our services.

“Businesses are realising that rather than cutting spend on marketing and PR in light of the recession these are the activities they should be investing in if they want to get ahead of the competition.

“One of the main barriers to success is lack of awareness of your company, product or service and the only way to overcome this is to actively raise your profile amongst your target market.”

St Mark’s Centre Manager Cormac Hamilton said: “Shooting Star PR is going from strength to strength and we are delighted to welcome them to St Mark's.

“St Mark’s continues to attract new businesses and the fact we have welcomed three new businesses in as many months is very positive with Gap Outlet and the Entertainer also opening soon.”

Shooting Star PR provides public relations, communications and editorial services to B2B and B2C organisations across a range of sectors, including tourism, higher education, early years, local government, property, construction, manufacturing and packaging.

Current clients include glass manufacturer Beatson Clark, market-leading vehicle valeting firm Autoclenz, DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln, Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln, Cool Milk, Lincolnshire County Council and the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
