When Creative Spreads wanted a container for its new high-end Xqui range Pont Packaging in the Netherlands called on its sister company, leading British glass manufacturer Beatson Clark , to come up with a solution.
The unique Xqui range, which includes smoked salmon and butter mousse plus mushroom and black pepper spread, comes in a new 125ml panelled food jar with a standard twist off neck finish.
Manufactured in white flint, the jar is a new addition to Beatson Clark’s extensive general sale range which provided Creative Spreads with a unique container for its upmarket product.
Beatson Clark’s general sale range also features 106ml, 190ml and 500ml panelled food jars, all of which are available from stock.
“Creative Spreads were looking for a flexible solution and a particular shape of jar without investing a lot of money in new moulds,” said Lynn Sidebottom, Sales Director at Beatson Clark.
“Working together Beatson Clark and Pont can find flexible solutions to requests like this, and it’s a win-win for everyone: the customer gets the shape and size of jar he needs and we get an opportunity to extend our range of general sale items.
“Pont has been supplying products to Creative Spreads since 2007 so the client was confident that we could design a new jar that would perfectly complement its Xqui range.”
Glass continues to be a first-choice packaging option for many manufacturers as it is seen as a high-quality material which can be endlessly recycled.
