A Mother’s Day to Remember at The Old Palace
News Release 5th March 2013Formerly home to the Bishops of Lincoln, the historic Old Palace hotel in the city’s Cathedral Quarter is opening a restaurant on Mothering Sunday for one day only. On 10th March the hotel, which normally only caters for private dining clients, will transform the King Room – once Bishop King Edward’s drawing room – into a restaurant specially for Mother’s Day. Head Chef Paul Newton, whose previous dinner guests include Tom Hanks and Anne, Princess Royal, will be preparing a mouthwatering menu combining traditional favourites with modern British dishes.
