Huge interest in China for Cypoint's solution for mobile airport services
Sigma's subsidiary Cypoint has been invited to be the main speaker at the China Airport Check-In Summit in Beijing from 14 to 15 April, organized by the state China Civil Airport Association (CCAA). The China Airport Check-In Summit is an event at which all the major airports in China will be represented, along with national and international airports.
Cypoint's CTO Johan Edgren will present Cypoint's industry-specific solution for mobile airport services based on Cypoint MCP (Mobile Communication Platform). As part of a venture on the Chinese market, Cypoint will be establishing a presence in Shanghai during the spring.
"We are proud that our mobile solutions venture for the Travel & Transportation industry has received so much attention internationally. We have participated in similar events in the UK, Switzerland and Spain, and this attracted attention in China. This serves as additional proof that we are on the right track to establishing ourselves internationally within the field," says Fredrik Lundkvist, CEO at Cypoint Systems Innovation.
"During May, we will establish a presence in Shanghai with Swedish personnel in order to further strengthen our global functional commitments and to move closer to a market where we are already seeing huge interest in our mobile solutions," he continues.
About Cypoint's solutions for mobile airport and airline services
|Cypoint's solution for airports and airlines provides an interactive, personified mobile service that gives the traveler all the necessary information proactively (push) and contact with customer service and suppliers throughout their journey. In addition to a mobile service supplied to travelers by SMS and/or mobile apps, airport players and airlines can cooperate in order to provide passengers with relevant information.
The solution is integrated with the airport's existing systems. Using this platform, mobile marketing can be established for service companies and stores that can communicate with waiting passengers. The solution can also follow passenger flows and, for instance, calculate current waiting times in security checks and how long it is taking to move around the airport. It contains a number of customized modules for various needs.
For airports and airlines, this means better, more proactive traffic information and customer relations, as well as better flow and deviation management. It also creates new income opportunities for various players at each airport. More information about Cypoint's solution for mobile airport and airline services is available here www.sigma.se/aims
