Sigma concludes framework agreement with Haninge Municipality
Sigma has signed a framework agreement for the supply of IT services to the coastal municipality of Haninge, outside Stockholm. "Haninge is an attractive municipality for those moving to the Stockholm region and it is investing in IT in order to further enhance the quality of its schools and of municipal services. Under the agreement, Sigma will supply services from strategy to implementation and can assume responsibility for entire or major portions of projects," says Bert-Ola Bångman, Vice President of Sigma Corporate Communications AB.
The framework agreement covers Sigma's consulting services in many areas, such as information security, systems design, infrastructure, knowledge management and training. Consequently, Haninge will use the services of several Sigma companies. Torbjörn Olofsson, Personnel Director at Haninge Municipality, explains that the choice of partner fell with Sigma because the company has both specialist expertise and experience of many different industries. The Sigma Corporate Communications subsidiary, which has offices in Stockholm, works with administrative system development, business planning, management and coordination of IT operations, as well as operation of networks and applications platforms in enterprise environments. Sigma is a leading supplier of consulting services in the areas of e-solutions, embedded solutions and engineering solutions. The Group, which has some 2,600 employees in ten countries, focuses on solutions for interaction, innovation and integration. Sigmas guiding principle is to strengthen its customers competitiveness and brands.
