Sigma strengthens relations with Ericsson
Sigma is strengthening its relations as preferred supplier of consulting services to Ericsson within research and development (R&D). This is in line with Ericsson now initiating strategic discussions with a fewer number of highly qualified consulting firms.
Thomas Pantzar, Business Unit Manager, Sigma Embedded Solutions, and Michael Krantz, Sales Directors, Sigma E-solutions, comment: "Through focusing on quality, cost efficiency and development of existing forms of cooperation, the condition exist for deepening cooperation so that it benefits Ericsson and Sigma. Our two companies have enjoyed a positive partnership for about 15 years, which facilitates the continued discussions." The partnership with Ericsson covers all three Sigma business areas. The long-term cooperation was manifested during 2000 through Sigma and Ericsson starting joint training in Bluetooth AcademyT and initiating global sales of Ericsson's development tools for Bluetooth. Sigma is a leading supplier of consulting services in the areas of e-solutions, embedded solutions and engineering solutions. The three business areas are expected to be listed on the exchange as three independent companies within a few months. The Group, which has some 3,300 employees in 13 countries, focuses on solutions for interaction, innovation and integration. Sigma's guiding principle is to strengthen its customers' competitiveness and brands. (www.sigma.se). ............................................
