Sigma tops list again in large framework agreement negotiation Sigma ranked first in the framework agreement negotiation conducted by the Swedish Department of Administrative Development for IT-related services within the fields of operational development and strategy, project management, systems development, customer support, operations and technology. The authorities concerned expect to spend SEK 250 M over a two-year period. Sigma ranked first among eight total suppliers. The authorities affected by the framework agreement are the National Labor Market Board, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the National Police Board and local Police departments, the National Tax Board, the Election Authority and Statistics Sweden. "The agreement represents further confirmation that Sigma's quality- conscious approach is a winner in the long-term. Prior to the framework agreement negotiations, 19 companies submitted applications to qualify to present total service estimates. Of these, the 16 companies that fulfilled the prerequisite conditions made by the Department of Administrative Development were invited to tender their bids. The negotiations comprised five service areas: operational development/strategy, project management, systems development, customer support, operation and technology. The Department of Administrative Development had established requirements concerning capacity, quality and price, which were combined to form an index. The results among the four best suppliers were fairly equal although Sigma placed first with an index of 89.91 percent.
