Online signage company uses the power of social media to help entrepreneurs in Africa

Salt Lake City, UT - March 18, 2013 – Signs.com, an online custom signage company, announced today the launch of its Signs.com Gives Back program. Through this program, Signs.com will donate custom-designed signage to Kenyan entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses.

“Thousands of Kenyan entrepreneurs are working to provide for their families against incredible odds,” says Signs.com chief operating officer, Nelson James. “We know the power quality signage has to increase business; we hope to give that power to these entrepreneurs who are working so hard to improve their quality of life.”

For every 200 Facebook “likes” it receives, Signs.com will donate a professionally-designed sign to a Kenyan business owner. By leveraging the power of social media, Signs.com is asking each of its customers, fans, and followers to be involved and to spread the word about the program.

“Giving back is one of the core values of our company,” says James. “We would love to give away thousands of signs through the Gives Back program and, hopefully, those signs will play a big role in helping business owners succeed and improve their lives.”
