Mon Dieu, a digital download single sung by British actress Lorraine Brunning has been released by Little Sparrow Productions as a unique tribute to the world-famous Parisian singer Édith Piaf. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/mon-dieu-single/id715163609.
In time for the 50th Anniversary of Édith Piaf’s death, which happened on 13 October 1963, the single has been recorded in French and is accompanied by an orchestral arrangement worthy of Brunning's immensely powerful theatrical vocal.
Distributed across 200 digital accounts such as Spotify, iTunes and Tesco Digital; the Mon Dieu download is currently being promoted on YouTube with a viral film where we see Brunning play the part of an emotionally fragile woman who is haunted by the spectre of Édith Piaf: https://www.youtube.com/user/LittleSparrowProds.

Mon Dieu is the first single from Lorraine Brunning's forthcoming album 'Comme Moi' which is due to be released in 2014. The album is produced with a theatre audience in mind and has all the credentials to remain on sale for long time.
Lorraine is to star in 'Piaf's Magician' by Matthew Hurt; commissioned by West End producers Beckman Unicorn for a 2014 première. Exploring the little-known relationship between Piaf and Jean Cocteau the play is set in Paris during the Second World War.
