New Business Unit President Skanska Czech and Slovak Republics
Roman Wieczorek is appointed Business Unit President Skanska Czech and Slovak Republics as of December 8, 2014. Roman succeeds Dan Ťok who is appointed new Minister of Transportation of the Czech Republic.
Roman Wieczorek will remain Executive Vice President Skanska and in his position within Skanska Senior Executive Team be responsible for Skanska’s construction operations in Central Europe.
“Dan has initiated the re-organization process of the Skanska Czech Republic and Slovakia Business Unit comprising not only an overall change of our business model, but also introducing a new way of thinking and an acting reference to Health and Safety as well as building a company culture based on ethical values and full transparency. As the Chairman of AmCham, The American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic, Dan has very actively participated in the work for transparency and a healthy business climate in the Czech business community.
