Skanska builds new electricity generating facility in Northeast USA for USD 68M, about SEK 550M

Skanska has, in a joint venture with Burns & McDonnell, signed a contract to build a generating facility in the Northeast region of the USA. The client is confidential. Skanska’s share of the contract is worth USD 68M, about SEK 550M, which will be included in the order bookings for USA in the first quarter of 2018.

Skanska has partnered with Burns & McDonnell on design and installation for the simple cycle generating facility.

Construction is underway and scheduled for completion in summer 2019.
