Skanska builds research facility in Virginia, USA, for USD 68M, about SEK 580M
Skanska has signed a contract with Carilion Clinic, a collaboration between Carilion Clinic and Virginia Tech, to build a research facility in Roanoke, Virginia, USA. The contract is worth USD 68M, about SEK 580M, which will be included in its US order bookings for the fourth quarter 2017.
Skanska will build a four-story research laboratory of approximately 13,000 square meters. The building will complete the Virginia Tech Carilion Biomedical Research addition on the Virginia Tech Carilion Health Sciences and Technology Campus.
Construction began in December 2017 and is expected to be completed in January 2020.
