Skanska constructs interchanges south of Stockholm, Sweden, for SEK 300 M

Skanska har signed a contract with the Swedish Transport Administration to contruct interchanges along road 73 south of Stockholm, Sweden. The contract is worth about SEK 300 million, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska Sweden for the fourth quarter of 2015.

The project includes construction and land work at Interchange Vega and Interchange Handen, and connecting roads.

Construction work starts in March 2016 with completion in August 2018.

Skanska Sweden is one of Sweden’s largest construction companies, with operations in building and civil-engineering construction. The business unit has approximately 11,000 employees and revenue in 2014 amounted to approximately SEK 30 billion.
