Skanska divests three properties in Stockholm, Sweden, for about SEK 850M

Skanska has divested three properties in the area Flemingsbergsdalen in Stockholm, Sweden, for an underlying property value of about SEK 850M. The buyer is Niam. The transaction will be booked by Skanska Commercial Property Development in the second quarter of 2017. The transfer of the property takes place in the fourth quarter of 2017.

In early 2014, Skanska signed a lease agreement with ICA Fastigheter and Huddinge municipality regarding an ICA Maxi store and a municipal sports center in Flemingsbergsdalen. Consequently, extensive development and construction of the properties began to include a long-stay hotel as well as a physiotherapist and rehab operator, which is let to Forenom and MedFit AB. The three buildings will have a total gross area of ​​about 23,700 square meters and are located in Flemingsbergsdalen, right next to the local commuter train station.

Construction is underway to complete the premises for Forenom and MedFit. Before the end of 2017, the newly produced buildings will be completed.
