Skanska invests DKK 560M, about SEK 700M, in a residential project in Ørestad City, Denmark

Skanska invests DKK 560M, about SEK 700M, in a new residential project in Ørestad City, Denmark. The investment is recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Nordic in the second quarter of 2016.

The project, located in a very attractive area in Ørestad City, is 27,300 square meters and consists of 300 rental apartments, ranging from 57 to 132 square meters and a 1,200 square meter convenience store.

The execution of the project will be in cooperation with the management contractor Sjælsø Management. Construction begins in May 2016 and completion is scheduled for the second quarter 2018.

Skanska now has over 900 rental apartments under construction in Copenhagen, of which 600 are sold.
