SKF appoints Kent Viitanen Senior Vice President, Group People & Business Excellence

Gothenburg, Sweden, 29 November 2013: SKF announced that Kent Viitanen has been appointed Senior Vice President, Group People & Business Excellence. He will report to Tom Johnstone, SKF President and CEO, and be a member of SKF Group Management.

He will start in this new position on January 1, 2014 replacing Eva Hansdotter, who will leave the SKF Group to take up the position as HR Director for Stena Rederi AB.

Kent Viitanen joined SKF in 1988 and is currently the Director for SKF’s Renewable Energy business. He has held a number of global managerial positions mainly within manufacturing, as well the position of HR Director for the former SKF Industrial Division.
