SKF awarded another major wheel bearing contract by GM SKF has been selected by General Motors to supply wheel bearings for their new segment C platform - the replacement for the current Opel Astra - that will start production in Europe in model year 2005. This is the second such award by General Motors to SKF in recent months after the nomination for the rear wheel application of their segment D platform - the replacement for the current Opel Vectra - that will start production next year.
