Trivselhus signs new major building contract for multifamily housing
Södra’s subsidiary Trivselhus has signed a building contract with property developer MacFreeze for 52 residential units in Kållered, Municipality of Mölndal, with a total order value of SEK 116 million.
"A long-standing and highly successful partnership between Trivselhus and MacFreeze underlies the contract, and is further proof of how Trivselhus can collaborate with professional business partners to develop attractive solutions for multifamily housing," said Jan Johansson, President of Trivselhus.
Trivselhus has worked with MacFreeze for many years around investments in developable land. The parties have now joined forces to build 52 terraced houses in the Kållered area in the Municipality of Mölndal. The two-story residential units with modern functional floor plans and sustainable building materials will have owner-occupied tenures. Construction will take place in two stages – autumn 2017 and winter 2018.

In 2017, Trivselhus expects to build 600-700 residential units, mainly free-standing premium homes but with a growing percentage of owner-occupied, terraced and multifamily units. In addition to its own land development, Trivselhus also partners with landowners to develop sites for multi-family housing. Trivselhus also markets and sells homes under the Movehome brand.
