BEARPAW FOOTWEAR DONATES 1,500 PAIRS OF SHOES TO SOLES4SOULS®, THE SHOE CHARITY
The Footwear company gives back by helping individuals without shoes
October 24, 2011 – (Nashville, TN) Soles4Souls, the international shoe charity dedicated to providing shoes to people in need, is delighted to announce that BEARPAW Footwear donated more than 1,500 pairs of shoes for their international relief efforts. The BEARPAW Footwear donation will be sent to the more than 1.5 billion individuals around the globe who do not own shoes.
“There are so many people suffering in the world today and finding themselves down on their luck I am incredibly grateful that we are in the position to be able to play a small role in making lives better,” said BEARPAW Footwear CEO Tom Romeo.
Soles4Souls has distributed more than 16 million pairs of shoes around the world with the help of partners like BEARPAW Footwear. Most recently, they have distributed thousands of shoes to the victims of the devastating tornadoes in the Southeast, as well as millions of shoes to the residents of Haiti. The shoe charity announced it will continue to send shoes and other supplies to the region throughout 2011 as a part of their sustainable efforts to help in the rebuilding efforts.
