Solteq to supply a gift card system to S-Pankki

Solteq will supply S-Pankki with a gift card system, which enables the customer
to flexibly use the balance loaded onto the gift card. The system will be
supplied as a 'Software as a Service' service and will be taken into use in all
S Group branches in autumn 2012. 

The solution being supplied will replace S-Pankki's current gift card system.
Using the new gift card system it will be possible to load the gift card at S
Group branches with an amount of money defined by the customer. The gift card
system is integrated into the S Group's ERP system and it will be managed via
Solteq's service centre.

flexible and modern services. Our electronic services already see over a
million users. The popularity of gift cards has increased over recent years and
therefore we want to update our current gift card system. Using the solution
offered by Solteq we are able to meet our customer's needs. We also wanted the
service to be supplied as a solution which can be easily implemented in all S
Group shops, hotels and restaurants", explains S Group Development and IT
director Ilkka Kuosa.
