Solent Creatives celebrated the successful launch of their 2014 digital advent calendar last night at a packed networking event for both businesses and students.

The festive calendar showcases 25 individual projects completed by students for business this year, across a range of skillsets. Currently there are 400 students enrolled with Solent Creatives as part of their course. The calendar represents just a small part of the work the agency has undertaken this year.

Southampton Solent University Vice Chancellor Graham Baldwin said: "The close connections we have with businesses are important to our students, and the range of work demonstrated here is impressive.

"The university is proud of the work that Solent Creatives has undertaken, and of the work our students produce."

Students demonstrated their talent for design, computer generated imagery, branding, journalism, photography, advertising and more to representatives from businesses from across Hampshire.

Stewart Dunn, Chief Executive of the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, said: "We are proud to be involved with Solent Creatives, and of the work we have achieved together. We look forward to the future projects we have planned, and continuing to strengthen our links with both the University and the agency."

The advent calendar can be seen online at www.solentcreatives.org with the first box being unlocked December 1st.
