Sponda redeems the EUR 92.8 million hybrid bond

In June 2008 Sponda Plc issued a EUR 130 million hybrid bond (ISIN-Code
FI0003029181). Sponda will redeem all of the outstanding capital securities at
the principal amount (EUR 92.8 million) together with accrued interest.

The redemption will be made on 27 June 2013 in accordance with the terms and
conditions of the hybrid bond.

In December 2012 Sponda Plc issued a new EUR 95 million hybrid bond. At the
same time, Sponda repurchased by a public tender offer a notional amount of EUR
37.2 million of the hybrid bonds originally issued in 2008. In December 2012
Sponda announced that it aims to redeem the remaining principal balance (EUR
92.8 million) in June 2013.

After this transaction only the hybrid bond issued in December 2012 will remain
outstanding (EUR 95 million).
