Stora Enso to rebuild a boiler at Hylte Mill in Sweden

Stora Enso will rebuild the boiler 2 at its newsprint mill at
Hylte in Sweden, commencing immediately. The boiler is being
rebuilt to increase its sludge burning capacity, reduce costs
and meet new EU directives on waste incineration. The project is
scheduled to be completed in February 2006. Capital expenditure
on the project will amount to EUR 40 million.

The project is in line with Stora Enso’s aim of reducing
production costs and improving environmental performance through
increasing usage of biofuels instead of fossil fuels.
