Monetary policy minutes to be published earlier

As from February, the monetary policy minutes will be published approximately 10 days after each monetary policy meeting has taken place, compared with 14 days previously.

Since the minutes were first published in 1999, a number of changes have occurred in both routines and processes, making it possible to publish the minutes somewhat earlier than before. This change enters into effect as from the February 2018 monetary policy meeting.

As a consequence of this, the Riksbank’s calendar has been updated with new publication dates for the monetary policy minutes. The minutes from the February monetary policy meeting will be published on 23 February instead of on 27 February as previously announced.
