TalkPool wins breakthrough IoT-as a service order

Report this content

Talkpool AG has made an important step towards its goal to deliver smart solutions as a service by winning a Purchase Order for site monitoring in Haiti to a total value of approximately 3 million USD

Talkpool plans to deploy a site monitoring solution that has been developed and is owned by LCC Pakistan Ltd, which recently was acquired by Talkpool. All Digicel’s telecom sites in Haiti will benefit from Talkpool’s site monitoring services, and most sites will be equipped with the solution already in the first half of 2018. This represents an important proof that Talkpool’s strategy regarding IoT and M&A makes sense.

The IoT-as a service solution combines an in-house product solution with telecom network services capacity that stretches over a five-year period. The investment of integrating the site monitoring solution will be absorbed by Talkpool, which plans to continue investing in the site monitoring solution while gradually improving Digicel’s network efficiency.

This paints the picture for how Talkpool's innovative product solutions, local engineering skills and strong customer relationships begin to work together to deliver smart solutions as a service.
