Tecnomen receives fixed-mobile Convergent Charging order from Brasil Telecom
TECNOMEN RECEIVES FIXED-MOBILE CONVERGENT CHARGING ORDER FROM BRASIL TELECOM
Brasil Telecom has awarded a new Convergent Charging order to Tecnomen comprising a new Fixed-Mobile Charging Application. Delivery is scheduled for the second quarter of 2007. Tecnomen will provide Brasil Telecom with an innovative prepaid application serving its mobile and fixed networks. Brasil Telecom's additional functionality will strengthen its competitive position in the market as well as enable Brasil Telecom to diversify its service offering to end customers. Brasil Telecom, one of the largest telecommunications companies in Brazil, was one of three fixed network operators formed when the industry was deregulated in 1999.
