Espoo, Finland –Tecnotree Corporation has announced a further improvement to its organisational structure and operational mode supporting efforts to drive greater productivity and scalability. This announcement is a continuum to the organisational structure communicated earlier in October 11th, 2011. The new organisation is effective immediately.

In the refined structure Tecnotree’s delivery entities are aligned a step further to improve productivity, predictability and quality. These goals will be achieved with a number of changes in the operational mode.

Mrs Padma Ravichander, Chief Delivery Officer explains: “At the end of 2011 we created a global product development function, to create a reusable and modular product platform alongside a solution delivery function, which was tasked to implement required customisations. Today, to drive greater productivity, we are consolidating software development and customisation competencies to a single entity. The new product development unit will focus on creating new products, developing existing products based on product roadmaps, maximising re-use of software code and driving software quality. Customer deliveries are handled by a global and four regional solution integration units that will ensure on-time solutions deployment and local integration of 3rd party solutions.”

Furthermore, Tecnotree has established a separate CTO Office to facilitate Tecnotree-wide collaboration in all technology matters and to drive common enterprise architecture. Mr Timo Ahomäki, Chief Technology Officer says: “Technology and architecture choices can have a significant impact on our profitability. It is our intention to improve in both of these areas.”

“The execution of our new strategy begun in 2011 is progressing well. During the process we have matured our common product platform and we have identified opportunities to increase productivity. Despite the fact that we are still in the middle of our transition, we anticipate our continued focus on re-use and productisation to improve our productivity,” concludes Mr Kaj Hagros, President and CEO of Tecnotree.
