Tecnotree supplies convergent customer care and billing system for NetOne Cellular in Zimbabwe

Espoo, Finland – Telecoms IT solutions provider Tecnotree today announced that it has been chosen by NetOne Cellular, a leading GSM operator in Zimbabwe, to supply a convergent customer care and billing system for both its prepaid and post-paid operations. The first phase of the contract is valued at USD 3.2 million and deliveries are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
The Tecnotree solution is a comprehensive BSS (Business Support System) suite incorporating customer management, service provisioning, mediation and billing, and a system for interconnect billing and partner management. The overall technology is built around Tecnotree AgilityTM Convergent Billing and Tecnotree AgilityTM Wholesale Billing products. To ensure a smooth and successful implementation the solution is delivered as a turnkey project including hardware, software licenses and professional services.
