Hélène Barnekow assumes the role of EVP Sweden and part of Group Executive Management. Hélène Barnekow has been with TeliaSonera since April 2014 as head of Group Commercial, where she has been crucial in setting the agenda to transform TeliaSonera to a New Generation Telecom. She has previously been with EMC, SonyEricsson and Ericsson.

Malin Frenning will take on a role in the Group Executive Management as SVP overseeing Group Technology and the ongoing transformation program, called "Invest to save”. Malin Frenning has a long background in TeliaSonera and Telia and has during the last 18 months successfully established a new leading integrated company in Sweden with 10 million customers within mobile, fixed telephony, fixed broadband and TV. She has also established the transformation program “Invest to save” that will deliver 1.3 billion SEK in full run rate savings annually from 2018.

Sverker Hannervall, the Group CTO, will leave TeliaSonera after seven years in Group Executive Management in various positions. Sverker has been part of establishing a new operating model and has been an important part of the change in TeliaSonera. During his notice period of twelve months Sverker Hannervall will remain as a senior adviser to CEO and GEM in ICT related strategic matters.

For Group Commercial Jonas Hasselberg and Jannike Grüner will be co-acting Group CCO and for Group Technology Staffan Åkesson will be acting Group CTO.
