TeliaSonera’s acquisition of operator Zitius has been approved

The acquisition of the group of companies within open fiber, communicated December 18, 2013, has now been approved by the Swedish Competition Authority. In addition to Zitius, the acquisition also comprised Quadracom Networks and the service provider Riksnet. In total, the purchase price amounted to SEK 473 million on a cash and debt-free basis.

The acquisition will be consolidated in TeliaSonera as of the end of May and will be part of TeliaSonera’s Swedish operation.
