2012 Dick Waterson match - a vintage display

A good crowd turned up on Saturday 1 Sept for the 2012 Dick Waterson Challenge to see 1,000 years of rugby experience give a master-class of vintage rugby technique and etiquette. There were more than 7 regional clubs represented as Club members, supporters and the public joined in this family Fun Day, raising over £3,000 in support of Help for Heroes and Cancer Research.
Club veteran Dick Waterson, himself fighting cancer, lead his colleagues out for a very exciting match between some local legends in the game who threw body and soul into making a thrilling spectacle for the very vocal supporters
