Peter Maguire to join Credit Management specialist Arum

Credit management specialist, Arum, has appointed Peter Maguire as Principal Credit and Collections Business Consultant with effect from 7 September 2009. Peter brings with him over 30 years Credit Management experience within the large volume retail, financial services, utilities and banking industry in the Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa. Highlights from Peter’s well-travelled career include leading the setting up of a completely new Retail Credit operation for a large UK utility and the implementation of a collections solution in Papua New Guinea. At Courts he held responsibility for growth and performance of the South East Asia regions credit portfolio, a role which included the design and roll out of strategic business improvement initiatives in Collections, Risk and Credit Sales. In recent years Peter has been leading credit risk and collections consultancy assignments in the banking and financial services sectors in the Middle East, Asia and Africa for PIC Solutions. His deliveries for clients have included developing a raft of best practice collections operations techniques, performance management and suites of management information/key performance indicators. Peter has presented and written credit industry articles for the UK Credit Industry and has also represented the UK Credit Industry in the early days of the new debt counselling / money advice government industry initiatives.
