Nice & Polite Subsidiary Liquidation

London – 23 January 2018 - The Marketing Group plc (“TMG” or the “Group” or the “Company”) notes the recent speculation regarding the Group’s subsidiary Nice & Polite Ltd (“Nice & Polite”).  The Company confirms it let Nice & Polite go into liquidation on 18 December 2017 following a Court Order to wind up the business and the Group’s desire to appropriately streamline its corporate structure.  Nice & Polite was not material to the Group’s financial performance, having made a loss after tax of approximately £6,000 in the year to 31 December 2017.

Ross Anderson, formerly Managing Director of Nice & Polite, remains with the Group, driving content related activities and the liquidation of Nice & Polite has not affected the Group’s commercial offering.
